Dragomir Vuchev

Associate Managing Director

 

​Mr. Vuchev is a highly accomplished audit and business investigations industry professional with almost 20 years of client, technical and leadership experience.

​

Since 2019, Mr. Vuchev has been an Associate Managing Director with Navigator Associates’ Eastern European Services, specializing in providing strategic development, M&A, investigations, controls and monitoring services to commercial, not-for profit and Non-Governmental Organizations. 

​

Mr. Vuchev has worked with many clients to manage both domestic and international audits, investigative crises, evaluate breakdowns in business controls, resolving related business disputes as well as advising on strategic development initiatives. 

 

In addition to his work with Navigator Associates, Mr. Vuchev has worked as an independent business, auditing and accounting advisor since 20017.

From 2000 until 2016, Mr. Vuchev was a senior practice Director and Manager with KPMG where he worked throughout the Balkans and Eastern Europe.  At KPMG, Mr. Vuchev lead engagements for many diverse organizations performing, financial and operational audits, sensitive special inquiries and M&A due diligence.

For a time during his long KPMG tenure, Mr. Vuchev took a short leave to act as the Chief Financial Officer of United Healthcare Bulgaria EAD - a group of 9 companies operating in the field of healthcare services in Bulgaria. The group comprised 4 medical centers throughout the country and a voluntary health insurance fund. The Group was funded by  Southeast Europe Equity Fund II. 

 

Mr. Vuchev is fluent in both written and spoken English.  He possesses both basic written and spoken French and Russian language skills.  His native language is Bulgarian.

    

Mr. Vuchev is certified for public audit practice and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants,  UK.  He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Bulgaria CPA.

 

In 2019, Mr. Vuchev became a candidate for the Certified Board Advisor designation of the American Institute of Certified Board Advisors, an organization dedicated to developing independent, effective corporate directorship strategic decision making and oversight skills.

 

Mr. Vuchev holds a Masters in Accounting 2005 and a Bachelor in Finance 2000 from the University of National & World Economics in Sofia, Bulgaria.
